Conferences
General Information MAC's semiannual gatherings provide attendees at all levels of experience and from all types of institutions the opportunity to build or enhance their archival competence, and to nurture individuals in a strong, diverse community of professionals. MAC’s Annual Meeting is held each spring, and features more than two full days of presentations, panel discussions and workshops on a broad range of subjects germane to archival work. The added tours and social events add to the atmosphere of collegiality for which MAC is known. In the fall, MAC sponsors a Symposium on a focused topic. This smaller, content-rich offering provides an intimate and in-depth exploration of issues on the cutting edge of the archives profession.
