Due to a delayed publishing schedule Archival Issues experienced a gap between the actual and printed publication date of the journal. Although the Editorial Boards has worked hard to remedy this situation, a gap still remains. To put an end to the confusion this problem creates Volume 28 of Archival Issues was published as covering both 2003 and 2004 in an effort to bring the publication up-to-date. See numbering below for other recent publication dates.

Due to Archival Issues recent publishing schedule, the following volume and issue numbers correspond to the following cover and mailing dates. Issues are provided to MAC members with memberships current as of the year of journal publication, NOT the journal cover date.

• Vol. 25, Nos. 1/2, cover date 2000, mailed Spring (April/May) 2002
• Vol. 26, No. 1, cover date 2001, mailed June 2002
• Vol. 26, No. 2, cover date 2002, mailed 2003 (cover date should have been 2001). Please note that this issue incorrectly listed the 2002 cover date. It should have read 2001.
• Vol. 27, No. 1, cover date 2002, mailed January 2004. Please note that this issue is dated 2002 correctly. Vol.26 No. 2 was supposed to be dated 2001.
• Vol. 27, No. 2, cover date 2002, mailed April 2004.
• Vol. 28, No. 1, cover date 2003-2004. Please note this special "catch up" issue to bring Archival Issues up to date. Published January 2005
